Free, pre-filing Counseling Session

If you wish to obtain a Certificate of Completion, there will be a $5 charge per certificate (payable by credit, debit or prepaid card) at the conclusion of your free counseling, to cover our costs. Our $5 charge is one of the lowest prices now being charged by any licensed organization for the "certificate of counseling" you must have before filing for bankruptcy.

This fee may be waived based on your income level.

Pre-Filing Bankruptcy Counseling

Under federal law, you are required to obtain credit counseling from a qualified non-profit agency before filing for bankruptcy. This website will allow you to complete the counseling requirement online, and to receive your certificate(s) of counseling for just $5 each (payable by credit, debit or prepaid card).

This website is provided as a public service by ConsumerBankruptcyCounseling.info. Using this service does not place you under any obligation.

This program has received authorization from the Executive Office for United States Trustee, United States Department of Justice, to service all federal Districts except for the District of Alabama and the District of North Carolina, to provide credit counseling. Upon completion of counseling we are authorized to issue certificates in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. EOUST approval does not endorse or guarantee the quality of any Agency's services.
